Exercise objective: To practice solving problem presented using the appropriate Hypothesis Test.
- A credit card company wants to understand the need for customer service personnel. The company thinks there is variability impacting the efficiency of its customer service staff. The credit card company has two types of cards. The company wants to see if there is more variability in one type of customer card than another. The Black Belt was selected and told to give with 95% confidence the answer of similar variability between the two card types.
- Analyze the problem using the Hypothesis Testing roadmap.
- Use the columns named CallsperWk1 and CallsperWk2 in Minitab worksheet “Hypoteststud.mwt”.
- Having a confidence level of 95% is there a difference in variance?
